| The September meeting of Furness RAM Lodge No 375 saw Phil Burrows elevated into the order by Worshipful Commander Jim Richards. This was the second new member of the Ulverston based lodge admitted this year with John Torrance being welcomed at the May meeting. The previous year had also proved fruitful for the lodge with Jack Lowther and John Broadhurst being welcome additions to the lodge. | |

| The photograph shows the four latest members of Furness R.A.M. Lodge with Jim Richards. Of the five John Torrance is the odd one out. Jim is a Past Master of Newby Bridge craft lodge John Broadhurst is the present WM, Jack the IPM and Phil the JW. John Torrance however has Arthur John Brogden Lodge based at Grange over Sands as his craft lodge. | |
